Pilot Project Brewing’s sales team is growing and looking to add a motivated, beer-loving sales rep with a hustler’s mentality, full of enthusiasm, creativity, and industry knowledge to the crew. Pilot Project is a brewery incubator based in Logan Square, Chicago and Milwaukee, WI. Our approach to brewing industry-defining products happens with fostering relentless experimentation of new brewing recipes, breweries, collaborations, styles, and concepts. Our mission for every beer distributed, whether consumed at a bar or from home, is that the experience of drinking one of our breweries’ products is as close to drinking at the source as possible.

Description

The sales rep will report to the National Sales Director and is responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Cold calling accounts to expand our distribution and product offerings
  • Manage an ongoing account base while continuously prospecting for new accounts
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with managers/buyers at all on premise and off premise accounts
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals as assigned by management
  • Track and monitor progress with accounts daily
  • Ensure proper merchandising of all Pilot Project Brewing brands at all accounts
  • Establish weekly target account lists and follow through field visits
  • Work under the supervision of our Director of Sales to achieve sales goals for revenue and volume growth while operating effectively within company and budgetary guidelines
  • Coordinate deliveries with delivery drivers including the ability to deliver directly as needed.
  • Available to work some nights and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to work beer fest/events as well as support on and off-premise tastings to support sales efforts at retail accounts as needed

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Experience in the beverage industry preferred with two year sales experience required
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, clean driving record & access to a dependable vehicle
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with persuasive written communication and large group presentation skills.
  • Google Office / MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Best in class customer service skills
  • Ability to pick up/carry cases of beer and maneuver kegs
  • Ability to perform all functions of merchandising accounts (e.g. spending time in cold boxes, climbing ladders/step stools, breaking down boxes, etc.)

Salary

$48,000 - $60,000 per year
