Description

Pierce & Pierce Attorneys, PLLC is seeking additional Full Time Associate Attorneys to join its team at their Gadsden and Birmingham Offices. We are a growing law firm which handles many areas of criminal, family, and probate law led by Attorneys Kyle Pierce and Beth Clayton Pierce.

We are committed to hiring attorneys that are passionate about helping people, have a ‘no job too-big or too-small’ mentality and understand that a person’s experience with the firm does not begin and end in the courtroom.

Pierce & Pierce Attorneys invests in the success and growth of the firm by hiring teammates that not only understand the law but also understand the real-world impact that people face when they are going through a legal matter. This is a perfect opportunity to join a firm with an established team of passionate individuals that are committed to upholding high standards of representation and customer service.

Firm Culture

The firm culture has been built and is maintained by everyone committing to living our core values. These are:

Positive People Create Positive Outcomes: Positive words and actions manifest the same. We speak well of our team members, our clients, our opponents, as well as our competition, and always treat all with the respect that is due.

Independence should be Nurtured: To be successful, we must be independent thinkers — so independent that when passionate about something, we’re willing to bet against the consensus. To accomplish that, we put our honest thoughts on the table, be radically open-minded, allowing the best ideas to rise to the top.

Everyone Deserves Our Best: If the result will only be “okay,” we look for a better option, and pivot quickly, as to not waste precious time. We give our best effort every time because every client and coworker deserve our best effort. And no firm can do it better than we can.

Resilience Makes the Difference: In our line of work, we will oftentimes face obstacles that prevent us from being successful through our first plan. We don’t quit. We keep working until we find a new path to the best outcome possible given the facts and the law.

Common Bonds Make Us Better: We look for our common bonds no matter what in the world might otherwise divide. We are not just shaping a law firm; we are building a law firm that has the power to help shape how people are viewed and treated in the world. All team member opinions are needed, welcome and treated as equal.

Education is Critical: Complacency is the greatest foe of greatness. We demand of each other to continue learning. We set ourselves apart in the law by embracing what we still do not know and rooting for one another to keep discovering more.

Who won’t fit in:

A lawyer in our firm must understand that some days are not nine to five and be motivated to be the best lawyer they can be. Our attorneys know we trust them to do their work, but we also expect great work. If you are the type of person who loves to think through a complicated legal issue and come up with a unique solution, we might be the right office for you. If you don't care for spirited discussion about

evidentiary issues or trial strategy, we might not be the right place, because in the end, we love the law and seek to make our clients lives better by using it to their advantage.
