Description
Entry-level team members may assist with nursery operations, landscape maintenance, or landscape installation based on current openings, experience, interests, and company needs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Planting, loading, moving, and caring for trees and other plant material
- Mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, and general property maintenance
- Assisting with landscape installation, site preparation, grading, planting, and cleanup
- Safely using hand tools, power equipment, vehicles, and other machinery after appropriate training
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Keeping jobsites, vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Following safety procedures and supervisors’ instructions
- Working cooperatively with crew members and providing professional service to customers
- Performing other related duties as assigned
This work requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedules and responsibilities vary by department, season, and business needs. Reliable attendance, punctuality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely as part of a team are essential.
