Pickup Music is a leading music-education company based in Los Angeles that has been growing steadily since 2016. We are the leaders in structured, long form learning with over 50,000 members for guitar, bass, piano and soon drums.

📍 Remote, independent contractor

⏱ Minimum 10 hours per week if selected

🌍 Open to candidates worldwide

👉 $20-25 USD / hour

We're building a pool of coaches for guitar, bass, and piano so we can move fast when a role opens up. Submitting your interest doesn't guarantee a position, but it puts you first in line when we're ready to hire.

Coach work at Pickup Music involves a mix of:

• 1:1 feedback videos on member performance pieces
• Weekly live lessons
• Engaging our members-only community for your instrument

Requirements

• Pro-level player on guitar, bass, or piano across a variety of styles
• Experience teaching students on your instrument
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written English
• A fast internet connection
• Ability to film yourself at home for feedback videos and live lessons

Nice to haves

• Bachelor's degree in music or equivalent
• Experience with customer success
