Pew Pew Guru LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaning Technician to provide professional janitorial services at a government facility in DeKalb, Illinois. This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent evening work who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Dust and clean offices, work areas, and common spaces
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
• Clean glass, doors, fixtures, counters, and other assigned areas
• Properly use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
• Complete assigned cleaning checklists
• Report maintenance, safety, or supply issues to management
• Maintain professional conduct while working in a government facility

Schedule & Pay

Monday–Friday after 5:00 PM

Approximately 2 hours per evening / 10 hours per week

$22.00 per hour

Anticipated start date: October 1, 2026

Requirements

Applicants must be dependable, punctual, able to work independently, and have reliable transportation. The position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting routine cleaning supplies, and performing physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.

Desired Skills

Previous commercial, office, or government-facility cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail, time management, reliability, and the ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety requirements are highly valued.
