Maintenance Mechanic III

Pew Pew Guru LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic III to perform skilled maintenance, repair, and property-turnover work in residential and facility environments.

Duties

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot and complete minor mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and general repair tasks
• Repair doors, cabinets, fixtures, hardware, walls, and other property components
• Use hand and power tools safely and properly
• Assist with vacant-property turnovers and make-ready work
• Identify maintenance issues and report conditions requiring specialized repair
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow work orders, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Document completed work and communicate repair needs to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous building maintenance, facilities, construction, or repair experience
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
• Experience using common hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments on schedule
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to follow written work orders and safety procedures

Desired Skills

• Carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, or minor electrical experience
• Vacant-unit, apartment turnover, or property maintenance experience
• Preventive maintenance experience
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Experience working with minimal supervision
