Pet’s Favorite Play Place is a BRAND NEW boarding and daycare facility! We are looking to add to our growing team! We have various roles available including customer service representative, kennel attendants, and playcare group leaders. We are currently hiring part time and full time staff, and preferred availability for daytime hours.


The ideal candidate would have experience in pet care, dog training, or veterinary medicine. We pride ourselves on caring for the physical AND emotional wellbeing of our guests, and all staff will be trained in low stress and fear free techniques.


This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of an exciting and growing branch of the Pet’s Favorite Family! We work closely with our sister location, Pet’s Favorite Vet, and our plan is to grow bigger and better to serve as many pets and people as possible! Our ideal candidate would:

  • Love working with people, and their pet family members. We provide 5-star service for our guests AND their pet parents!
  • Able to work in close quarters with dogs, cats, and people.
  • Able to lift 40 pounds, or more with assistance, and be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable cleaning up after pets and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable giving and receiving constructive criticism
  • Knowledgeable regarding basic pet care including feeding, grooming, and administering medications.
  • Have a clear understanding of dog behavior, and the ability to recognize signs of stress or aggression.
  • Have strong communication skills to interact with dog owners and provide updates on their pets' activities

Example Duties May Include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to pet owners and ensuring a positive experience for our canine and feline guests as well as their pet parents.
  • Monitor and supervise dogs in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Engage in playtime activities with dogs, including interactive games and exercise.
  • Feed and administer medications to dogs as directed by their owners.
  • Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including dog play areas, kennels, and common areas.
  • Assist with bathing and grooming of dogs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and complete update reports for pet parents.

Please Note: Our facility provides care to our guests every day of the year. Although we are closed to the public on major holidays, our staff will be required to rotate through working holidays and weekends.
