The Role As a Server at Tahona Tacos and Tequileria, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back.
What You'll Do - Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials. - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. - Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction. - Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests. - Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service. - Handle cash and process payments accurately. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. - Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and service.
What We're Looking For - Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. - Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
Nice to Have - Knowledge of food and beverage pairings. - Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems. - Certification in food safety or responsible alcohol service. - Bilingual skills are a plus.
