Performance Equine Veterinary Services is seeking a qualified veterinary technician/assistant to join our team in Aiken, South Carolina. Experience working as a veterinary technician/assistant is preferred but not required.
Job description: Provide nursing care to equine patients to include emergency/critical care, treatment plans, jogging, and lunging horses for exams, preparing patients for sterile procedures, managing inventory and assisting in surgery. This position is a 30-40 hours/wk position, our technicians share the responsibilities of the emergency on-call schedule. The position includes cross training in all services.
