PerfectScale is hiring a Solutions Engineer to join our Go-To-Market team. You will partner with our Account Executive team to deliver value across the entire customer journey. If you are looking to be on the cutting edge of innovation in B2B SaaS, this is a role for you.
You will be responsible for Technical Validation and POCs in the Sales Process while integrating the deals that you sell and supporting those customers throughout their entire customer journey. You will be the company's expert on the best possible implementation experience for our customers. You will own the process from end to end and drive enhancements and best practices to ensure long-term scalability and efficiency.
We are looking for someone who loves to get technical with customers and solve challenging requests while ensuring customers see value and successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities

Drive Sales in Your Territory: Own and lead sales activities in your region, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.

Manage & Expand Your Pipeline: Build, maintain, and grow a healthy sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with pre-sales, SDRs, and partners to ensure success for both the business and our customers in your territory.

Develop Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers, establishing trust through technical knowledge and product expertise.
- Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing technical support, managing customer requests to ensure maximum value from the solution.
- Culture Contribution: Contribute to company culture through sharing knowledge and educating internal teams.
What We're Looking For

Proven Sales Experience: A successful track record, of at least 5 years in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in the cloud-native space. Experience selling to developers and with Kubernetes-related solutions is a strong advantage.

Self-Starter Mentality: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with the ability to work autonomously and close deals independently.

Hunter Mindset: Demonstrated ability to acquire new leads and strategically close deals, collaborating effectively with internal and external te ams to meet targets.

Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach that contributes positively to a team-focused environment.

Data-Driven & Organized: Strong organizational skills with the ability to leverage modern sales tools to identify and target the right prospects at the right time.

Location: Ideally based on the East Coast of the US, though other locations within the contiguous US will be considered.

Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of sales processes and strategies, with a demonstrated ability to close deals effectively in a competitive environment.

Technical Savvy: Familiarity with Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies is a significant advantage.

Exceptional Communicator: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills. Additional languages are a plus.
