Team & Role Description

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at PerfectScale, you will be responsible for generating high-quality sales pipeline for our growing sales team. Using a comprehensive sales-technology suite, you will research and engage with our Ideal Customer Profile in the Kubernetes and DevOps spaces.. You will work directly with Account Executives, marketers, and other colleagues within PerfectScale to execute successful outreach campaigns through various channels. 


This is a fully remote role for a self-starter with a strong sales DNA. This role will provide you with powerful hands-on training to further develop your sales career. You will become an expert on our platform, a Kubernetes guru, and a master of sales strategy and execution. Every day you will be challenged and up-leveled by smart and driven teammates to learn and understand our customers, our products, and our sales process.


Role Responsibilities 

  • Generate new, high-quality sales-qualified leads (SQLs) for Account Executives
  • Meet all key performance metrics and goals on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Research and Build Target Account Lists & execute campaigns to new companies 
  • Use all available sales data to recognize trends and drive outreach decisions
  • Create successful campaigns targeting the best prospects at targeted accounts
  • Learn and demonstrate our platform to prospective customers
  • Gain proficiency in various sales-technology
  • Work with a close-knit team of talented sales experts who will challenge you and support you in your professional growth


Minimum Qualifications 

  • You have 1-2 years of sales experience/lead generation 
  • You have the internal motivation and drive to succeed in a goal-driven sales position
  • You are willing to learn in a fast-paced sales environment
  • You possess the ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable
  • You are eager to learn DevOps technology basics and apply them to business situations
  • You are eager to earn compensation based on achieving sales targets


Preferred Qualifications 

  • You have previous experience with cloud-native and/or Kubernetes
  • You have a history of attainment in a quota-carrying role
  • You have experience with various sales technologies
  • You have familiarity with the MEDDPIC or BANT sales methodologies


Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of many compensation, benefits, and other reward opportunities we provide. The salary for this role is according to OTE (on-target earnings) which includes a variable component that is based on achieving an individual sales quota. The expected salary range for this role to be performed remotely shall be disclosed during the interview process.


Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, employee location, previous experience with verified success, and balancing other factors critical to building a world-class sales team.
