Team & Role Description

As PerfectScale head of product, we are looking for someone to lead the Product Management team (in the future, for now, you’ll be the only PM in the company), who is passionate about building products that customers love, and can be a primary driver of the group’s vision; overseeing the development and management of the product’s roadmap based on the adopted strategies and vision.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities that lead to the growth of the product through innovation and market analysis while still maintaining the fundamental business goals/priorities.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop requirements, user flows and use cases for the product's new features/capabilities, based on the priority coming from the market/business.  

You will join a dynamic, remote, and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Role Responsibilities 

• Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Developing product pricing and positioning strategies
• Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other team members
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

Minimum Qualifications 

• Proven work experience, of at least 4 years, in product management with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management 
• Solid technical background and hands-on experience in software development, web technologies, and Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of analytical and quantitative skills. Posses the ability to use information/data and various metrics to develop an informed and factual business case. 
• Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done we are looking for doers and not talkers!
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven demonstration of people and leadership skills with an ability to move your peers. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Worked as PM in a SaaS startup selling solutions for the Dev or DevOps persona
• Have hands-on experience using Kubernetes at scale
• Preferred location- Europe and used to work in remote teams
• MBA and MS/BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
