Position Summary

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and dedicated caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver with Percipience Home Care, you will provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and support to clients in their homes. This role is essential in helping clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance).
• Assist with daily living activities (meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands).
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Support clients with dementia care and recovery care, as applicable.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to supervisors.
• Document care activities and maintain accurate records.
• Follow care plans and safety guidelines to ensure client well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) certification a plus.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and provide physical assistance as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must pass background check, Health Care Worker Registry verification, and employment eligibility verification (E-Verify).
