About PeopleOps360

Our clients don't just get a service provider. They get a trusted HR partner who feels like a natural extension of their team. Description

The Role

As a Senior HR Generalist, you'll be the dedicated HR point of contact for a portfolio of small business clients — their day-to-day HR lifeline, their trusted advisor, and the person they're genuinely glad to hear from. You'll handle everything from nuanced employee relations conversations to making sure the right processes are in place so nothing falls through the cracks.

You thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, you genuinely love people (and helping businesses treat them well), and you have the HR expertise to back it up.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for a portfolio of small business clients — building real relationships and earning their trust every day
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, and HR compliance
  • Build, maintain, and improve HR processes, policies, and documentation for each client
  • Support recruiting efforts including job postings, video screenings, interview coordination, and candidate communication
  • Stay ahead of employment law changes to keep clients protected and informed
  • Show up for clients the way a great internal HR leader would — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their success

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of broad HR generalist experience, with strong employee relations expertise
  • A client-first mindset — you respond quickly, communicate clearly, and people genuinely enjoy working with you
  • The kind of warmth that makes hard conversations easier and good relationships stick
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a love of systems, checklists, and getting things right
  • Recruiting support experience
  • PHR certification (HRCI) strongly preferred — or eligible and actively working toward it
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you know how to deliver a hard message with care
  • Based in the Phoenix metro area with occasional availability for on-site client visits or quarterly team get-togethers

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Incentive plan for client satisfaction and retention
  • Health insurance
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays
  • Remote-first role — work from home with occasional on-site visits to Phoenix-area clients and quarterly in-person team gatherings
