The Pennsylvania Democratic Party (PADP) is committed to electing Democrats at every level of government and building a strong, inclusive organization across the Commonwealth. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Operations Associate who assists with the day-to-day compliance and operations needs of the Pennsylvania Coordinated Campaign.


Position Summary:

The Operations Associate is a vital team member to the Operations Department, the backbone of the campaign. This position oversees office operations, HR functions, financial recordkeeping for compliance, vendor relations, and operational support for both the State Party and the Coordinated Campaign. The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, deadline-driven, and capable of balancing multiple workflows in a fast-paced political environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day logistics and administration of the Pennsylvania Coordinated Campaign.
  • Provide scheduling and administrative support across campaign departments.
  • Assist with general office operations, including preparing materials for new hires, ensuring workstations are prepared for arrivals, and assisting with the collection and distribution of campaign equipment.
  • Maintain Operations organizational tools, systems, and trackers.
  • Assist with and track the onboarding and offboarding of campaign employees.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding operations needs, including HQ administration and statewide operations support.
  • Ensure a functional office environment, including utilities, internet setup, IT support, and office supplies.
  • Address staff operations issues and requests in a timely and professional manner.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • This is an in-person position based in the Harrisburg HQ office.
  • At least one campaign cycles of experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a similar field.
  • Strong commitment to electing Democrats at all levels of government.
  • Excellent time management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates a “no task too small” mentality and an eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

  • This position is salaried at $5,400 per month, with employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance.
