The Deputy Finance Director will help build and execute our in-state and national fundraising plans, prepare for and staff call time, and plan and execute in-person fundraisers, among other responsibilities.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Donor portfolio management: manage a portfolio of mid-level and major donors, with responsibility for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Events: plan and execute party fundraising events from start to finish, including venue coordination, outreach management, RSVP tracking, and on-site logistics.
  • Call time: schedule, prepare, and staff call time with the Chair and other principals, prepare call sheets, manage follow-up, and ensure all touchpoints are tracked properly.
  • Donor acknowledgments: own and execute the acknowledgment process, including drafting thank-you letters, coordinating timelines, and tracking outreach.
  • Pledge tracking: support the Finance Director with pledge tracking and chasing, maintaining accurate records, flagging outstanding commitments, and conducting donor follow-up.
  • Team coordination: coordinate day-to-day workflows with, and delegate tasks to, associate-level staff.
  • National fundraising: support national fundraising efforts, including coordinating travel logistics, preparing donor briefings and materials for out-of-state outreach, and assisting with nationally-focused events.
  • Digital fundraising: collaborate with the digital fundraising team to ensure strong email/SMS appeals
  • Special projects: support special projects and strategic fundraising initiatives as they arise throughout the cycle.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of political fundraising experience, with demonstrated growth in responsibility.
  • Strong experience problem-solving with NGP VAN
  • Hands-on experience across call time, event planning, and donor stewardship.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable engaging donors and stakeholders across a range of backgrounds.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as the fundraising calendar requires.
  • Willingness to travel as needed throughout Pennsylvania


Salary

$7,500 - $8,500 per month
