Overview


The 2026 Pennsylvania Coordinated Campaign is seeking experienced Deputy Digital Directors (Digital Deputies). The Digital Deputies will operationalize an overarching digital strategy across platforms to ensure a seamless, clear, and effective digital presence across all Coordinated Campaign public facing components. Digital Deputies will collaborate across teams with Deputy Leadership and in later phases, with Regional Digital Associates across the Commonwealth. Digital Deputies should anticipate accountability to several quantitative and qualitative metrics of both voter mobilization and digital reach.


The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is committed to electing Democrats at every level of government and building a strong, inclusive organization across the Commonwealth.  This is a full-time position based in Harrisburg, PA, with regular travel throughout the state.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute social media strategy across multiple platforms utilizing content sourced from and/or developed in collaboration with the Organizing team, Digital Team
  • Execute Digital Distributed Voter Contact tactics, principally peer to peer texting and emails. 
  • Build, manage, and train a large scale online community of volunteers, voters, and stakeholders on Slack to support Digital and Organizing mobilization efforts. 
  • Develop new and build on existing relationships with local, micro, and large-scale influencers who create content relevant and beneficial to the campaign, candidates, Pennsylvania, and/or its many communities.
  • Monitor performance metrics and data integrity across digital audiences; identify challenges and proactively adjust strategy to drive results.
  • Develop and implement statewide systems, structures, and best practices that enable regions to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and phase-based organizing goals.
  • Partner closely with the Digital Director on social strategy, messaging and scripting, and voter and volunteer mobilization.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development of Regional Digital Associates.
  • Lead special projects or priority initiatives as assigned by the Digital Director.


Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience 

  • 1+ cycles of digital campaign experience with cross team collaboration
  • Basic knowledge of digital campaign tools (P2P texting apps like Scale to Win, event platforms like Mobilize, email platforms like MailChimp or Action Network, etc.)
  • Social media management and general savviness; familiarity with digital community management
  • Story telling,content creation, and editing skills 
  • Familiarity with social listening and metric tracking tools a bonus
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a motivating, inclusive, and accountable culture online and in person.
  • Familiarity with NGP VAN and modern voter contact and organizing tools is a bonus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed; access to a reliable vehicle and cell phone required.

Salary & Benefits 

This position is salaried at $7,000 per month, with employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance.
