Small Boat Service & Operations

Department: Small Boats

Reports To: Marina Manager

Position Summary:

Assist guests with small boat rentals by providing orientation, launching and mooring boats, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Orient guests on boat operation and onboard equipment
• Conduct pre-checks and basic maintenance of boats
• Ensure inventory and safety equipment (life jackets, fire extinguishers) are on board
• Clean boats and prepare for the next rental
• Handle propane safely and follow marina safety procedures
• Control marina traffic and assist guests with docking
• Maintain clean work areas and follow energy conservation practices
• Provide guests with lake and resort information
• Greet and assist guests courteously

Qualifications:

• High school education preferred
• Knowledge of boats, and basic maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive, guest-focused attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Work Environment:

• Seasonal, outdoor marina setting with active guest interaction
