Job Title: Houseboat Maintenance Technician

Department: Houseboats

Reports To: Houseboat Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for maintaining and servicing rental houseboats and marina facilities. Assists guests with boat operation, launches and moors boats, and supports daily marina operations while delivering excellent guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance, sanitation, and upkeep of rental boats and marina areas
• Complete basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and repair tasks
• Operate power tools and resort boats safely
• Assist with boat launches, mooring, and guest orientation
• Support winter refurbishment projects (painting, sanding, repairs)
• Maintain marina cleanliness and follow safety procedures
• Provide friendly, professional guest service

Qualifications:

• High school education preferred
• Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance work
• Ability to work well with guests and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
