We are currently seeking bright, motivated, detailed person to fill the role of a Medical Assistant as we work with children. CMA Required and you will have on the job training for all aspects of the position. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the clinic running smoothly. Computer and Office skills are needed.

Description

Responsibilities: 

● Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices 

● Records patient data prior to each physician visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes. 

● Administer vaccinations and flu shots. 

● Assist with cleaning of rooms and equipment 

● Assist with screening of patients upon entry of the facility 

● Performs other administrative duties, i.e., typing, filing, scheduling, faxing, chart preparation, reception, etc., as requested by supervisor or physician. 

● Perform routine clinical tasks to support the doctor 

● Communicate with insurance companies for verifying insurance coverage and referrals ● Ordering Vaccines and maintaining inventory levels and temperature monitoring. 

Qualifications 

● Certified Medical Assistant Mandatory 

● High School Diploma or GED 

● Excellent communication and great work ethic 

● Strong organizational and multitasking skills 

● Bilingual Spanish-English is preferred

● Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

● 32.5-36 hours per week 

● Day shift 

● Monday thru Friday, Rotating Saturday
