The Role

As a Medical Assistant/Front Desk at PAX Cardiovascular Specialists LLC, you will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and enhancing the patient experience. You will assist with various clinical tasks and administrative duties to ensure smooth operations in our practice. Your attention to detail and compassionate approach will help us deliver high-quality care to our patients.

What You'll Do

- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.

- Take patient histories and vital signs accurately.

- Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently.

- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications.

- Handle administrative tasks, including billing and insurance verification.

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient care processes.

What We're Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program is preferred.

-Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) certifications preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

-Experience with E Clinical Work is a plus

Nice to Have

- Experience in a cardiology or specialty practice setting.

- Bilingual skills are a plus.
