Paws ‘n’ Rec is a membership-based Doggy Daycare and Overnight Boarding provider. We deliver affordable doggy daycare and safe and secure hoteling for furry family members of humans living in major US cities.

While you'll be surrounded by all shapes and sizes of dogs, Paws 'n' Rec is hardwork. In between snuggling golden retrievers and chasing dalmatians, you'll be helping to move dogs, supervising large packs in play yards, preparing meals, cleaning and organizing the facility, and helping with customer service. Responsibilities include:

  • Take attendance of dog groups
  • Check all routes and yards prior to dog playgroups
  • Safely transport dogs from their suites to applicable adventure yard(s)
  • Maintain visual eye contact of all of the dogs during all playtimes
  • Monitor safety of playgroup
  • Complete all daily opening and closing tasks for your adventure group
  • Maintain cleanliness of your assigned Adventurer group and yard(s)
  • Communicating with management about information/issues regarding Adventurers and clients
  • Interact professionally with clients during pick-up/drop-off for daycare and boarding
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining the interior and exterior of the facility
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining inside/outside of dog suites
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining facility restrooms
  • Cleaning up all forms of dog waste
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Washing, drying, and folding towels, beds, blankets, toys, etc.
  • Refilling water bowls/buckets


Qualifications:

  • Have strong and effective communication skills with both staff and clients
  • Have prior experience or familiarity with dogs
  • Able to lift up to 50+ lbs
  • Able to bend, kneel and stand for long periods of time
  • Hold a valid US driver's license with a good driving record
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, email, etc.)
  • Experience and knowledge of proper cleaning procedures
  • Able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and possess a great deal of common sense
  • Must be comfortable with general touch and affection with the animals


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00-$14.00/hour
