We’re hiring a Pet Care Technician who is sharp, physically active, and ready to grow. If you’ve got a background in animal care or a related field and you’re done with environments that don’t match your energy — keep reading.


WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE


Active, independent, and always moving. Every day is different. The standard never is.


  • In-home dog walking, feeding, hydration, and medication administration
  • Snout-to-Tail Health Assessments — you’re our eyes in the field
  • Real-time client communication and detailed visit reports through our CRM
  • Handling pets of all breeds, sizes, and behavioral backgrounds
  • Occasional overnights, client consultations, and social media contributions
  • Outdoor work year-round, routes across Oakland County


WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR


We want someone who moves fast and thinks clearly. Someone who doesn’t wait to be told twice, asks good questions, and brings ideas — but still follows the chain of command because they understand why systems matter.


You’re a strong fit if you:

  • Have experience in veterinary care, animal welfare, or a hands-on animal-related field
  • Are physically fit and fully comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
  • Are tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools and workflows
  • Communicate confidently with clients and colleagues — written and verbal
  • Are growth-oriented and want a clear path to Senior or Team Lead over time
  • Can de-escalate anxious animals and anxious people with equal ease


WHAT PAM OFFERS


  • Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour — competitive and experience-based
  • Pet CPR and First Aid certification — provided by PAM

THE FINE PRINT


  • Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle required
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
  • Must be available for Monday through Sunday, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm — This is a full time position that requires open availability
  • Background check required
