Paws Around Motown is growing, and we're adding dog walkers and pet sitters across Clawson, Royal Oak, and Troy, MI. We're the premium, professional pet care company in this market — W2, not an app. Trained, insured, and treated like the professionals they are.

What you'd actually be doing:

Most days you've got a route of homes across Clawson, Royal Oak, and Troy. You let yourself in with a lockbox, and there's usually a dog losing its mind with joy that you showed up. You take them out — around the block, through the neighborhood — top off the water, handle breakfast or meds if that's the plan, wipe the muddy paws, and grab a couple of good photos. Then you send the owner a quick note: Bella ate every bite, we did two laps, she's passed out on the couch now. Lock up, on to the next house.

Some visits are cats who just want company and a clean litter box. Some days you'll take a dog on a real adventure — a trail hike or a sniffari-everything neighborhood outing — or drive one to a vet appointment. And you're the one who catches when something's off: a dog that won't eat, a new limp, a cat hiding when she usually greets you. You flag it, and the owner finds out before it turns into a problem. When they're at work or out of town, you're their eyes.

The details:

• 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM — part-time through full-time
• Starting pay $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, plus W2 employment -- real paycheck, taxes handled, not a 1099 app gig, paid training from day one, paid time off, 401K with company match.
• Paid training, Pet CPR & First Aid certification on us, and a real ladder: Pet Care Technician → Senior Pet Care Specialist → Team Leader.

You'd fit right in if you light up around animals, read them well, own your day without anyone hovering, and are the type who notices the small things and says something about them.

Requirements: Insured, reliable car · Reliable smartphone · Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes · Steady working solo outdoors in Michigan weather
