We're a locally owned family of businesses on the Emerald Coast. Paul Davis of the Emerald Coast transforms homes through mitigation, restoration and full remodels. 209 Main is our boutique retail store — from a single inspiration piece to a whole house of furniture, plus decor and gift items that arrive weekly. We need one creative, organized person to tell both stories and grow both audiences.

Storm season has us busier than ever, and we need a problem solver to help run our office and make sure every job we finish gets billed and paid.

Paul Davis restores homes and businesses after water, fire, mold and storm damage. Much of our work is paid by insurance carriers, which means invoices, documentation, adjusters and follow-up — lots of follow-up. If you like turning an AR report into cash in the bank, this job is for you.

What you'll do

• Invoice completed jobs quickly and accurately, with the documentation insurance carriers require
• Own accounts receivable: follow up with homeowners, adjusters, insurance carriers and mortgage companies until every invoice is paid
• Have direct, professional conversations about money — friendly, firm, and solution-focused from the beginning of the job to make the collection easier at the end.
• Decide when an account goes to our collection company, and manage that relationship
• Report weekly on invoicing, collections and AR aging to ownership
• Manage office systems and processes to help the office run smoothly
• Find better ways to work — including using AI tools to draft letters, summarize files and speed up follow-up

What you bring

• 3+ years of invoicing and accounts receivable or collections experience
• 2+ years managing or supervising staff
• Confidence asking for payment, by phone and in person, while keeping the relationship positive
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong computer skills: accounting software (QuickBooks or similar), Excel or Google Sheets, and email
• Curious about AI and comfortable using tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot at work
• Organized, persistent and calm under pressure

A huge plus: experience in restoration, construction, insurance claims, adjusting or insurance billing — and familiarity with Xactimate, DASH or similar systems.

What we offer: $48,000–$60,000 based on experience, a quarterly bonus tied to collections, a competitive benefits plan, and a growing, locally owned company that rewards people who fix problems.
