This position requires proficiency in various medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Previous experience is highly valued, however, we will train the right applicant.

Position: Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Schedule: Full-time 

Key Responsibilities:


Assist physicians and other medical professionals with patient care

Obtain vital signs, patient history, and document information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Prepare examination rooms and ensure a clean, organized environment

Perform clinical procedures such as EKGs, injections, ear lavages, and wound care (if applicable)

Educate patients on procedures, medications, and post-visit care

Assist with scheduling, prior authorizations, and medical documentation

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations

Qualifications:


Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required

One or more years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Proficiency in EMR systems and medical terminology
