We are looking for a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patient’s homes in accordance with an established care plan. We can offer flexible scheduling to accommodate preferred hours.

Coon Rapids Client 1

• Monday-Friday 9am- 4pm - up to $18/hr for qualified candidate
• Client has cat.
• Transfers required.
• We've been trying to fill this client for some time; need right understanding and caring individual. Jokeful client and loves sports and getting out when possible (i.e. walks in summer / use metro mobility). Hours can be flexible just not start before 9am.

Coon Rapids Client 2

• Saturday-Sunday 8am-4pm - up to $20/hr for weekend shifts for qualified candidate. **
• Friday-Sunday nights 5:30-9pm - up to $18/hr for qualified candidate **.
• Client has cat.
• Transfers required during day shifts.

Coon Rapids Client 3

• Wednesday 8am-4pm - up to $19/hr for Wednesday alone shift for qualified candidate. **
• Client has cat.
• Transfers required.
• Client OK with 8-2pm or 8-4pm.

**Client 2 & 3 are classified complex and do offer that additional enhanced rate for people who have completed that DHS training of $1/hr (and total pay up to $21 hr.)

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patient's residence
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Assist with client’s personal care activities
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Skills and Requirements

• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Caring and compassionate personality
• Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs.

Helpful Skills

• Proven working experience as Personal Care Assistant
• Health care administration skills
