Day to Day Roles:

1. Perform in vivo experiments in rodent models including oral gavage, tail vein injection, I.P. injection, I.M. injection, submandibular blood collection, and tissue collection/processing.

2. Make detailed observations, analyze data, interpret results, and exercise appropriate technical discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments in an independent manner.

3. Perform and troubleshooting assays

4. Prepare/review technical reports, SOPs and technical summaries; present at internal/external meetings

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:

• B.S. degree with 3+ years of experience or M.S. degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience performing experiments in mice. Additional experience with rats or other mammalian models is a nice to have
• Preference is given to individuals who have worked with intestinal tissue before
• Experience with generating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOP) is a plus
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to use Excel and/or Prism as well as record data in an electronic lab notebook
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
