We are seeking a driven Account Executive (AE) to join our team and work directly alongside the CEO. This role is pivotal to our expansion efforts, requiring a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, detailed oriented, is a seamless communicator, and is passionate about making a positive impact in the education sector.
Responsibilities:
- Outreach and Relationship Building: Utilizing introductions provided by the CEO, schedule and book meetings with other school districts in the vicinity.
- Sales Meetings: Accompany the CEO to sales discussions, effectively capturing key details, understanding the specific needs of each district, and offering insights where necessary.
- Sales Funnel Management: Efficiently move prospective clients through the sales funnel from initial contact to final deal closure. This involves understanding the unique requirements and challenges of each district.
- Procurement and Compliance Navigation: Lead and assist with the complexities of district procurement processes. This may also entail understanding and navigating security audits, ensuring our solutions meet district standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and shifts in the education space, bringing back insights that can help enhance our offerings and sales strategies.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in a sales or account management role. Experience in the education sector or with SaaS products will be highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the region for meetings and presentations.
- Exceptional listening, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- A growth mindset, with a keen interest in understanding and navigating the intricacies of the education sector.

- This is not a remote role. The selected candidate will be expected to work from our regional office and travel as necessary for client meetings.
The expected range of pay for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 + commission. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications and experience. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
