We are seeking passionate and energetic Parkour Coaches to join our diverse team of dynamic coaches that work with individuals of all ages to explore the exciting world of parkour. As a Parkour Coach, you will play a pivotal role in creating safe and positive learning and movement environments, helping participants develop physical skills to navigate their world, foster creativity, and build confidence through parkour and movement training.

Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Instruct and Demonstrate:
  • Lead parkour classes, workshops, and private lessons, providing clear and engaging instructions to participants, primarily youth participants ages 6 - 13.
  • Demonstrate proper techniques, movements, and safety procedures, ensuring thorough understanding among participants and the safe execution of session goals.
  • Set up the site with the necessary equipment prior to the start of programming.
  • Take down and put away equipment at the end of each session.
  • Curriculum Development:
  • Develop and update lesson plans and curriculum to cater to various skill levels and age groups.
  • Incorporate progressive training methods that focus on skill acquisition, strength development, and creative expression.
  • Safety and Risk Management:
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants by leading proper warm-ups, cool-downs, progressions to sessions.
  • Ensure that all technical instruction has adequate preparations and progressions.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning atmosphere by keeping an eye on participants while training, identifying potential risks and addressing them promptly.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate team member.
  • Individualized Coaching:
  • Provide individualized feedback and coaching to participants, recognizing their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and achievement through movement and community.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Actively engage with the parkour community and stay informed about industry trends, events, and developments.
  • Promote a positive image of parkour and the company at community events.
  • Administration:
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and class curriculum.
  • Report any injuries or incidents according to guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and administrators regarding program updates, behavioral issues, and individual progress.
  • Communicate with PKGB team members in a timely and professional manner.

Salary

$17.5 - $25 per hour
