Description

The House Manager is responsible for setting up and overseeing Front of House operations during Park Square programming. This includes coordination of Box Office and Concessions staff and ushers, overseeing patron safety, and providing an excellent customer service experience to our guests. The desired candidate has the ability to work with a group or independently and maintains a professional, yet flexible attitude.


Primary Job Duties:

  • Responsible for opening closing the theatre lobby and FOH spaces for performances
  • Supervises FOH staff during events to enforce policies and procedures as outlined in the departmental manual
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and provide excellent customer service in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • The House Manager will act as the liaison between FOH and the Stage Management to ensure timely pre-show, intermission and post-show service
  • Generates and distributes a daily House Management Report to PST staff and production
  • Manages volunteer ushers during scheduled shifts
  • Assists in the set-up of Accessibility services such as open captioning and audio description when provided and monitors the equipment throughout the performance
  • Maintains a positive and professional, service-oriented attitude focused on resolving patron concerns in a timely manner


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required, Associates or Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Prior experience with online ticketing software is helpful, PST operates on Patron Manager
  • A proven track record of excellent customer service and management experience in sales or a similar retail environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Must have availability to work Wednesday-Saturday Evenings and Sunday Afternoons
  • Passion for the arts and live performance

  • Saturday, 11/29 – 12-4pm & 5-10pm
  • Sunday, 11/30 – 12-4pm


Weekend 3

  • Thursday, 12/4 – 5-10pm
  • Friday, 12/5 – 5-10pm
  • Saturday, 12/6 – 5-10pm
  • Sunday, 12/7 – 12-4pm


Weekend 4

  • Thursday, 12/11 – 5-10pm
  • Friday, 12/12 – 5-10pm
  • Saturday, 12/13 – 12-4pm & 5-10pm
  • Sunday, 12/14 – 12-4pm

Salary

$20 - $22 per hour
