The Role
We're looking for a Supply Chain & Special Projects Associate to take ownership of day-to-day supply chain management. This involves communicating with local and foreign manufacturers, inventory tracking, and forecasting.
This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable with ambiguity and wants to build real operational infrastructure at an early-stage company.
No two days look the same, and there's real variety and problem-solving built into the job, but the details matter enormously. This role lives and dies on accurate numbers: correct quantities on a PO, a reconciled invoice, a precise inventory count. We need someone who takes real pride in getting the small stuff exactly right, not just the big-picture strategy.
Supplier & Inventory Management
- Track inventory across multiple warehouses and suppliers, and keep our internal tracking systems accurate and up to date
- Manage relationships with local and international manufacturing partners, including issuing POs, requesting quotes, and coordinating specs/design approvals with internal teams
- Monitor and assist in inventory forecasting
Logistics & Forecasting
- Plan freight shipments (sea vs. air) to balance cost and speed
- Build and maintain light demand forecasts to plan around seasonal order volume
Special Projects
- Research and communicate with potential new suppliers for future product lines
- Coordinate with product, marketing, and sales during new product launches
- Take on other ad hoc projects as the company grows
What We're Looking For
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations — we welcome candidates across the spectrum, from early-career (1+ years) to seasoned professionals
- Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail, especially with numbers — you naturally catch a discrepancy in a PO, invoice, or inventory count before it becomes a problem
- Genuine comfort with repetitive, detail-heavy work alongside the bigger, more dynamic projects — you don't need every task to be exciting to do it carefully and well
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience working with overseas manufacturing partners is a plus
- Genuine interest in sustainability and reducing plastic waste in healthcare
Compensation
$65,000–$90,000++, based on experience, with option for equity in an early-stage company. We're flexible on level and compensation for the right person.
