Requirements

• Juniors and Seniors pursuing a degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Branding, Advertising, Marketing, or a similar field. Recent graduates are also eligible.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• A strong student portfolio demonstrating creativity, branding, original concepts, and a keen eye for typography, layout, and color. Note: clearly identify your role in any group projects in your portfolio.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of media, with a focus on both traditional/print (65%) and digital (35%).
• Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to willingly follow direction.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Punctuality is a must. 
• Willingness to be stellar, working to further our institutional, non-profit, cause-based, and for-profit clients.

 

Responsibilities

• Create and design print and digital materials, adhering to brand guidelines and completing projects according to deadlines.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop design concepts and participate in creative briefings.
• Use graphic design software to retouch and manipulate images, assemble final presentation materials as needed.
• Help maintain brand consistency across all visual communications.
• Support the design team in creating social media visuals, banner ads, and other promotional materials.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to keep the brand’s visual identity fresh and engaging.
• Create designs for Parallel’s own social media channels and portfolio.
