Parallel is a brand agency helping organizations build stronger brands through strategy, identity design, digital experiences, and marketing. We’re looking for an Account Coordinator to support our client services team, coordinate projects, and help create an organized, responsive, and thoughtful experience for every client.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Antonio, Texas.
The Account Coordinator supports the day-to-day work that keeps client relationships and projects moving forward. Working closely with the account team and other departments across the agency, this role helps coordinate communication, organize project details, track next steps, and ensure teams have the information and resources they need.
You’ll support multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously while gradually taking ownership of assigned client relationships and smaller engagements. From preparing meeting materials and documenting action items to coordinating timelines and reviewing deliverables, you’ll help maintain clarity and momentum throughout every stage of the work.

What You’ll Do
- Support account team members with day-to-day client communication, project coordination, and administrative needs
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients and projects, providing responsive and professional service
- Prepare for client meetings, project kickoffs, status calls, and presentations by organizing agendas, materials, and project information
- Attend client and internal meetings, document decisions and action items, and follow up to ensure next steps are completed
- Maintain project schedules, task assignments, status updates, and supporting documentation within the agency’s project management platform
- Coordinate with strategy, creative, production, and external partners to gather information, track deliverables, and keep work moving
- Translate client and internal discussions into clear notes, organized next steps, and actionable tasks
- Monitor project timelines, priorities, and outstanding needs, proactively communicating potential delays or roadblocks
- Review deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and client readiness before they are shared
- Assist with project setup, estimates, purchase orders, invoicing information, and other account documentation
- Maintain organized client files, contact information, meeting records, and project resources
- Support a positive client experience through timely communication, careful follow-through, and attention to detail
- Contribute to improving client services processes, templates, and workflows across the agency
What We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in account coordination, client services, project coordination, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, approachable style
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with close attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Consistent follow-through and a proactive approach to identifying needs and solving problems
- Confidence communicating with clients, teammates, and external partners
- Ability to receive feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and take increasing ownership over time
- Proficiency with project management platforms and Google Workspace
- Collaborative, dependable, and service-oriented approach to working with clients and internal teams
Nice to Have
- Experience in a branding, marketing, advertising, or creative agency environment
- Familiarity with creative workflows across strategy, design, digital, and production
- Experience preparing client-facing materials, meeting notes, project briefs, or status reports
- Familiarity with project estimates, budgets, scopes, and invoicing processes
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, preferred
