About the Role

Parabolic Auto is building the revenue and retention platform that modern car dealerships have been waiting for. We're a small, venture-backed team moving fast and we're looking for a software engineer who wants to own real problems, ship things people actually use, and help shape the company as we scale. This isn't a role where you execute a ticket queue. You'll architect systems, influence product decisions, and leave a fingerprint on everything we build.

What You'll Do

• Design and build across the full stack — customer-facing products, back-end systems, and the agent and partner interfaces that power dealership workflows
• Own features end-to-end: from scoping and architecture to deployment and iteration
• Be a real voice in product — you'll weigh in on prioritization, UX, and what we build next
• Lay infrastructure that can scale with us as we grow
• Recruit and interview engineering candidates; help us raise the bar
• Champion the kind of engineering culture you'd want to work in

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong fundamentals - you can reason about system design, trade-offs, and performance
• Strong development skills - AI is a useful tool but not a necessity
• Experience with Elixir, Phoenix and Postgres
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with GitHub
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-moving startup environment
• Exposure to AI/LLM integration is a meaningful plus
• Ready to jump in anywhere needed
