About Paper Roll Products

Paper Roll Products (PRP) is a national, employee-owned B2B distributor of transaction media and POS consumables — thermal rolls, labels, ribbons, and specialty paper — headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Teamshares network company, PRP is majority-owned by its employees. We serve thousands of retail, hospitality, fuel, healthcare, and franchise locations across the country with over 500 SKUs, phenol-free and BPA-free product options, and a drop-ship program that gives our customers a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Account Retention & Relationship Management

•         Serve as the primary point of contact for key account buyers and corporate procurement contacts

•         Conduct regular proactive outbound calls and emails to active accounts to confirm satisfaction, anticipate needs, and identify at-risk relationships

•         Notify accounts of upcoming price changes in advance and provide updated pricing sheets

•         Maintain accurate contact records and activity logs in Apollo CRM

•         Maintain current knowledge of PRP's full product catalog to recommend the correct SKU for each customer's POS system and environment

New Store Outreach & Prospecting

•         Monitor industry news and internal leads to identify newly opening or recently opened locations within assigned accounts

•         Initiate timely outreach to new store managers or owners to introduce PRP and secure their initial transaction media order

•         Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure new accounts are set up correctly and first orders are fulfilled accurately

•         Identify and pursue new store opportunities within adjacent franchise and chain concepts as pipeline capacity allows

Revenue Growth & Account Expansion

•         Identify opportunities to introduce additional products — labels, ribbons, tags, fasteners, tagging guns — to accounts purchasing a limited product mix

•         Work with high-frequency buyers to grow account relationships and order volume over time

•         Execute targeted re-engagement outreach to reconnect with inactive accounts

•         Leverage PRP's phenol-free / BPA-free product line and compliance documentation as a competitive differentiator

Growth Mandate

•         Own expansion beyond the current account base — identifying and pursuing new franchise, chain, and multi-location concepts

•         Partner with leadership to prioritize new strategic account opportunities as PRP grows its broader B2B customer base

•         Bring an entrepreneurial, hunter mindset to the role — this position is expected to grow the book, not just maintain it

Reporting & Coordination

•         Provide weekly activity updates to VP of Sales including new stores contacted, accounts retained, active pipeline, and revenue metrics

•         Activity based metrics with a robust sales pipeline quota

•         Communicate account-specific instructions and pricing nuances to Customer Service for accurate order fulfillment

•         Act as the first point of escalation for service issues within assigned accounts, partnering with Customer Service and Operations to resolve quickly

Qualifications

Required

•         2+ years of inside sales, account management, or customer-facing B2B experience

•         Strong phone and email communication skills — comfortable with consistent outbound volume

•         CRM proficiency (Apollo, Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)

•         Organized, self-directed, and goal-oriented with strong follow-through

Preferred

•         Experience selling into franchise systems, retail chains, or multi-location operators

•         Familiarity with POS consumables, transaction media, or similar B2B distribution products

•         NetSuite or similar ERP exposure

•         Experience with NEPQ or consultative / needs-based selling methodologies

What We Offer

•         Employee ownership — every team member has a stake in the company's success

•         Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus

•         Collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment with direct access to leadership

•         A role where your results are visible and your growth is rewarded
