Job Title:

·      Commercial Cleaning Technician

Reports To:

·      Site Supervisor / Owner-Operator

Location:

·      Augusta, GA and the surrounding area

Employment Type:

·      Part-Time (Evenings & weekends) 20hours a week

Position Summary:

·      As a Commercial Cleaning Technician at Palmetto Facilities Group LLC, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and janitorial services in a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented manner. You will help maintain safe and sanitary environments at client locations, both under Jan-Pro contracts and private service agreements. This role requires reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work independently while representing the Palmetto brand.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as assigned for each facility

·      Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in offices, restrooms, and common areas

·      Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch surfaces

·      Dust furniture, windowsills, and equipment

·      Restock paper products and cleaning supplies where applicable

·      Empty and replace trash liners in waste receptacles

·      Secure client keys or access codes; lock up sites upon completion

·      Adhere to all PPE and safety procedures, including the use of chemicals

·      Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly

·      Maintain a professional appearance and wear the required uniform

 

Qualifications:

·      High school diploma or equivalent preferred

·      Previous cleaning or janitorial experience a plus, but not required

·      Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently

·      Trustworthy with client property and confidential workspaces

·      Must be able to pass background screening and eligibility verification (I-9)

·      Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled evening shifts

 

Physical Requirements:

·      Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and carry equipment up to 30 lbs

·      Able to walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions

 

Uniform & Equipment:

· Jan-Pro-branded shirt provided and required

·   Employee must supply khaki pants and slip-resistant shoes

·   Cleaning tools and PPE provided by the company

 

Compensation & Benefits:

·      Starting at $14-hour
