About Club39

Club39 is an elevated but approachable sports bar at Padel39 North Dallas, where a craft cocktail program and a sport with serious momentum come together. Padel39 is a fast-growing multi-location padel club operator in Texas, and Club39 is the bar program that anchors our North Dallas location.

About the Role

The Bar Lead is Club39's senior bartender and shift leader. You will work the floor as part of the bar team on every shift, building drinks, running service, and holding the standard, while also carrying the leadership responsibilities that come with being the most accountable person behind the bar.

Our focus is linking genuine hospitality with expertly crafted cocktails, ensuring everyone feels welcome from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. The Bar Lead sets that tone, develops the team around them, and makes sure Club39 runs the way it is supposed to on every shift.

Two days per week are management-designated Bar Lead shifts at an elevated rate, focused on leadership, training, and operational oversight. The remaining shifts are bartending shifts. Compensation is commensurate with experience within the ranges listed below.

What You'll Own

People

• On-shift leadership of the Club39 bar team.
• Training and development of bartenders across Club39's cocktail program.
• Shift documentation and communication to management through the 7shifts logbook.
• Real-time labor coverage coordination with management.

Experience

• Execution of Club39's full cocktail program to standard on every shift.
• Bar setup, cleanliness, and presentation throughout service.
• TABC compliance: responsible service, ID verification, and alcohol monitoring.
• Frozen machine operation, batch prep, and overnight pre-cool protocol.
• An experience that earns people back.

Operations

• Bar opening and closing procedures, completed correctly every shift.
• Product monitoring and ordering communication to management.
• Inventory support and invoice recording in MarginEdge.
• Health, safety, and TABC compliance, always.

What We're Looking For

• Two or more years of bartending experience in a full-service bar or cocktail-forward environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a shift and hold a team to a standard, through example rather than direction.
• Warmth and genuine care for the people at your bar. Hospitality is a skill, not a personality trait, and we hire accordingly.
• Full working knowledge of spirits, cocktail technique, and bar operations.
• TABC certification, or willingness to obtain it before your start date.
• Reliable, organized, and prepared. The bar does not forgive shortcuts.
• Comfort with POS systems and scheduling tools (we use Union POS and 7shifts).
• Experience with batched cocktail programs or frozen cocktail equipment is a plus.

Compensation and Schedule

• Bartending shifts: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, plus tips through the all-day Club39 tip pool.
• Bar Lead shifts: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, management designated, two days per week.
• Both rates commensurate with experience.
• Schedule: Full time. Open availability required. Specific schedule set with management at hire.
• PTO: Accrual begins at hire, and the rate increases with tenure.
• Benefits: Medical enrollment available. Padel39 covers approximately 50% of the employee premium. Dental and vision available at employee cost.
• Immediate availability preferred.
