Pacific Mind Health is looking for an experienced Interventional Psychiatrist (MD/DO) as we expand our outpatient practice throughout Southern California.

About the Job

The Interventional Psychiatrist will provide clinical care at our growing outpatient clinics, currently in Irvine, Long Beach, and West Los Angeles or through our telehealth program.

 

This role involves assessments, diagnosis, evaluations, medication management, and delivery of interventional treatments while working in a multidisciplinary setting alongside psychiatric nurse practitioners, PAs, Interventional technicians, and a dedicated clinical support team.

 

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, interventional treatments including TMS, Ketamine and Spravato (training provided).
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings and treatment planning.

 

Quality, Research, & Innovation

  • Champion clinical excellence through evidence-based protocols and ensure safety and quality metrics.
  • Stay current with advances in psychiatry, interventional treatment modalities, and integrative care models.
  • Participate in continuing education and potentially contribute to research/publication.

 

Community & Patient Advocacy

  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings and treatment planning.
  • Represent Pacific Mind Health in outreach and education efforts.
  • Help expand access to care through partnerships, events, and provider network development.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation Range: $325,000–$375,000

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • BE/BC in Psychiatry & DEA license
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry (1–3+ years preferred)
  • Familiarity or experience with interventional psychiatry (TMS, ketamine, Spravato) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Google Suite platform is a plus

Salary

$325,000 - $375,000 per year
