RN for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Practice

Minimum Qualifications:

• RN license in PA
• Great Attention to Detail
• Willingness to learn and progress along our training track
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Consistently professional appearance and attitude
• High energy, well presentable, respectable and joyful personality a must
• Must pass a background check, education verification - must have bachelors, and drug screen
• X-RAY, PALS, ACLS, DAANCE certifications qualify for additional hourly compensation

Duties Include:

• Pre-op patients. Verify patient, history, consent and procedure.
• Must be an expert at starting IVs.
• Review health history and enter info into EMR and anesthesia record.
• Conduct asynchronous consults in coordination with surgeon and assistants.
• Pre-operative and post-operative calls to patients.
• Recovering patients post-procedure.
• Contact Referring Doctors when needed to obtain accurate health history or optimize the patient prior to surgery (aka clearance).
• Schedule prep including verifying referrals, confirming health clearances obtained, and loading in applicable consents into patient portal.
• Team outreach marketing on select occasions.

Schedule:

• 10 hours per shift, Full Time hours - 40 per week
• Office Hours: Monday Through Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm
