THE POSITION
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to own the execution of P1 Commerce’s internal marketing function. This role is focused entirely on marketing our company—building our brand, amplifying the work we do for our clients, and telling the P1 story to the world. You will not be working directly on client accounts or interfacing with clients; instead, you’ll be the driving force behind how P1 shows up externally.
You’ll collaborate closely with our broader marketing and leadership team to surface the exceptional work happening across the agency and translate it into compelling content, campaigns, and communications. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career marketer who wants to build a strong foundation across content creation, social media, and marketing operations—and who is excited about the challenge of marketing a high-performing, fast-moving eCommerce agency.
In Your First 90-Days You Will:
- Learn: Get up to speed on P1’s brand voice, messaging guidelines, content library, and marketing workflows. Familiarize yourself with our tools, services, and the channels we use to communicate with clients and prospects.
- Build Marketing Infrastructure: Help establish more formal processes around our internal marketing operations, including developing and maintaining a marketing calendar that keeps content, campaigns, and announcements organized and running on schedule.
- Manage Social Media: Help manage and schedule content on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms. Coordinate with designers on asset production and help maintain our content calendar.
- Organize Marketing Assets: Maintain and organize our library of marketing materials—presentations, PDFs, visuals, and videos—with proper naming conventions and version control.
- Collaborate: Actively participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and leadership. Take detailed notes and implement feedback as directed.
Long-Term You Will:
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to move key projects forward—prioritizing communication around formalizing our decks and building out the website—ensuring everyone stays aligned and work keeps moving.
- Drive Content Strategy Execution: Take greater ownership of the content calendar and campaign execution, proactively surfacing ideas and improvements to our marketing programs.
- Support Content Creation: Own the production of P1’s marketing content—blog posts, newsletters, case studies, video assets, and more. Translate what our team is doing for clients into compelling stories that showcase P1’s expertise and results.
- Turn Data into Stories: Independently gather and synthesize campaign performance data and client results, then coordinate turning that material into coherent, well-written case studies and content that demonstrate the impact of P1’s work.
- Build Cross-Functional Relationships: Develop strong working relationships across the P1 team to gather inputs, validate messaging, and ensure marketing materials reflect our evolving services and value proposition.
- Automate and Systematize: Identify opportunities to streamline and scale our marketing function through automation and smart tooling. Leverage AI tools like Claude to accelerate content production, improve consistency, and reduce manual effort—helping us do more with less while maintaining a high standard of quality.
