Ozark Trails Youth Services is a Revolutionary Long Term Residential Treatment Center that combines Residential Treatment with Nature and Primitive Skill development. Clients are guided through experiential learning in order to open the neural pathways that are needed to effectively engage in the therapeutic process.

Individual Therapist is responsible for the overall therapeutic progress and therapeutic case

management of 10-14 students. This position reports directly to the Clinical

Director

Minimal requirements for the position are candidates must be Licensed Master’s Level Therapist and be in good standing in the state of Missouri. Two years-experience is preferred.

Student therapeutic progress are the key goals of the position. Planning, implementing and adjusting a course of treatment are key elements of this position. Responsibilities include:

 Development and implementation of student treatment plan

 Facilitate weekly individual therapy with each student on caseload

 Timely completion of documentation (weekly individual

therapy notes, group notes)

 Review student treatment progress in treatment team meetings with Primary

Counselors

 Oversee all aspects of each student’s therapeutic progress including:

o Updating student treatment plans every 90 days

o Ensuring timely progress and completion of treatment plan goals

o Giving clinical updates to Primary Counselors and medical staff

 Work with students in the milieu to ensure that therapeutic progress is reflected in real world settings. Spend assigned time in the milieu

 Complete insurance reviews when assigned by Clinical Director

 Attend daily Staff Meetings
