The role of the Front Desk Receptionist is of utmost importance in our organization as they are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing administrative support. This individual will play a vital role in greeting and checking in patients, collecting payments, managing the schedule for our team of four doctors, maintaining patient communal areas, filing dental insurance, and ensuring accurate documentation in patient charts.

Ozark Prosthodontics has an immediate, full-time opening for a customer service-oriented receptionist. Responsibilities include greeting patients upon arrival, effectively managing the schedule for 4 doctors, completing the check-in/check-out processes, collecting payment, filing dental insurance, and maintaining patient common areas. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. The ability to multi-task is a requirement. Prior experience in a medical or dental office is a plus.


Responsibilities for Front Desk Receptionist include:

  • Greet and check in patients for appointment.
  • Enter dental insurance and submit dental claims.
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Answer phones, forward calls, emails, etc.
  • Maintain lobby area: patient lobby area, coffee bar,
  • Scan paperwork and file digitally
  • Manage office mail pickup, package shipment and deliveries.
  • Print, Scan, Fax, Copy documents as needed.


Qualifications for Front Desk Receptionist include:

  • Strong technical skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, web based applications, basic troubleshooting)
  • Positive, friendly attitude and proactive approach to tasks
  • Ability to manage basic administrative tasks.
  • Microsoft Certifications

The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, possesses above-average communication skills, and proficient in basic computer skills. The preferred education background includes post-secondary education with coursework in administrative functions, general office practices, accounting, and computers. An Associate Degree in Business Administration or Accounting is desirable. A minimum of six months to one year of related experience is required.
