Duties

Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Cultivate and expand the technical prowess of a diverse team of consultants, specialists, and engineers through hands-on guidance and a culture of radical delivery.
  • Lead and manage this team, fostering an environment of growth, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.

Solution Design and Implementation:

  • Craft bespoke solutions tailored to unique customer needs, adeptly designing system integrations within intricate environments and workflows.
  • Define rigorous validation criteria to ensure seamless implementations and migrations.
  • Oversee and refine the systems and technology underpinning Oxalis software applications, collaborating with senior leadership to champion the product vision and roadmap.

Strategic Partnership and Business Development:

  • Partner with senior leadership to shape strategy and direction as a staunch advocate for technological advancement and innovation.
  • Identify and nurture strategic partnerships with businesses and channel partners to expand our reach and impact.
  • Work closely with account leaders, consultants, and the sales team to unearth new business opportunities, amplify the value delivered to customers, and orchestrate upselling strategies for additional products and services, all while consistently showcasing our company's capabilities.

Customer Engagement and Technical Expertise:

  • Consult with customers on a wide range of technical domains, including cloud, security, performance, development, and recovery, as they pertain to Oxalis's core competencies in ITSM, ESM, Agile, PPM, and DevSecOps.
  • Identify pain points and avenues for improvement, offer expert insights on industry trends, architect future-state environments, and align solutions with organizational goals to achieve measurable value.
  • Surpass customer expectations by delivering high-impact solutions, tirelessly pursuing tangible outcomes, and consistently exceeding their needs.
  • Articulate ideas and recommendations with clarity, build trust through empathy and active listening, and deliver impactful presentations to diverse stakeholders, including executive-level customers.
  • Craft and present high-quality, customer-facing deliverables and presentations that epitomize the company's dedication to quality and customer focus.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

  • Oversee relationships with and outcomes from our technical vendors and contractors, ensuring their contributions align with our objectives and standards.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience showcasing technical acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • A decade or more of experience in customer-facing roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and a proven track record of building lasting relationships.
  • Five or more years of experience leading and managing technologists, showcasing your ability to inspire and guide technical teams towards success.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and strategic thinking, enabling you to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong software development skills in modern and cloud-based environments, reflecting your adaptability to the latest technologies and your commitment to staying ahead of the curve.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, ensuring clear and concise communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and the flexibility to work remotely while being able to travel to company and customer sites as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Five or more years of hands-on experience with Typescript, Python, Ruby, or similar technologies, highlighting your versatility and proficiency in various programming languages.
  • Five or more years of experience with AWS and Azure — or comparable cloud providers — demonstrating your expertise in cloud-based architectures and solutions.
  • A comprehensive understanding of application and data security, authentication, access control, and rights management,ideally with experience in environments that comply with HIPAA, PCI, CMMC Level 3 and higher, and FedRAMP.
  • Proven experience in architecting and designing solutions that span across cloud, SaaS, on-premises and end-user devices, showcasing your ability to create cohesive and integrated systems.
  • A deep and demonstrated track record in leading technology projects and consulting engagements, including adept planning, estimation, risk and issue management, and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy enterprise software applications in highly compliant and secure environments, ensuring the utmost integrity and reliability of our solutions.
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience with Atlassian products, such as Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Align, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello, and Access, reflecting your familiarity with industry-leading tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in applying Agile concepts and working within relevant frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DevOps, ITSM), emphasizing your ability to adapt to dynamic project environments and deliver results efficiently.
