What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Financial projection and cash flow management
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Financial and ROI analysis
- KPI development and reporting
- Revenue and expense analysis
- Operational finance support
- Oversight of accounting processes and controls
- Working closely with leadership on strategic decision-making
- Improving financial visibility, accountability, and reporting cadence
- Helping support sustainable growth and operational efficiency
- Overseeing and executing on the entire accounting function from bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, payroll, reporting.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong financial and operational acumen
- Experience in healthcare, direct-pay healthcare, subscription/membership models, or entrepreneurial businesses preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
- Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
- Able to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
- Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with operations, sales, marketing, and leadership teams
- Has experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting experience including consolidations, eliminations, and intercompany transactions across all entities.
- Knowledgable on multi-state payroll and compliance.
- No ego, no bureaucracy mindset
- Able to manage all aspects of the accounting cycle
Qualifications
- CPA preferred but not required
- Prior Controller or CFO experience required
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and operational finance
- Experience with remote teams and modern cloud-based systems
- Able to complete all necessary bookkeeping functions
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a small/start-up business environment
- Experience with Quickbooks Online, Fathom, and Gusto are a plus.
