At Ovadia Heart Health, health coaching is a core pillar of how we help people reclaim their health and reduce their long-term risk for chronic disease. Our Health Coaches partner closely with members to translate medical insight into sustainable lifestyle change through education, mindset, nutrition, movement, and behavior change. This role is essential to delivering our prevention-first, metabolic health-centered care model and supporting members in building lasting, meaningful improvements to their health.
Position Summary
Our Health Coaches play a key role in guiding clients through lifestyle and behavioral change while contributing to the development of our internal coaching systems, education resources, and team culture. This role combines client engagement, curriculum development, and team collaboration to build a strong, scalable, and supportive coaching program for all Practice Members and Employee Wellness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions for the medical practice members of Ovadia Heart Health and for the wellness programs of I Fix Hearts focused on lifestyle modification, nutrition, mindset, and exercise.
- Develop personalized wellness plans aligned with client goals and company philosophy.
- Facilitate group sessions such as movement, breathwork, mindset, and leadership-based programs.
- Collaborate with medical and fitness teams for holistic care.
Qualifications
- Certified Health Coach (Primal Health, Nutrition Network, SMHP, DTTAC, NBHWC etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of coaching experience (5+ preferred for Senior/Lead levels)
- 1+ years of virtual care experience required
- Background in functional health, nutrition, or wellness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Additional certifications in movement modalities (Pilates, Yoga, Personal Training, etc.)
- Experience with Zoom and comfortable being on Zoom for approximately 50% of the 8-hour workday
- Self-managed and need minimal oversight
- Seeking a team member who is interested in longer term growth potential to create new content, new approaches and new programs
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- The ideal candidate will be able to accommodate sessions as late as 7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT.
- Work hours are flexible and will be determined in coordination with your manager, based on both your availability and the needs of the company.
- Coaches are expected to support a full schedule of client sessions each day, with session volume varying based on session type, program needs, and operational structure.
