Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the efficient daily operations of the warehouse. Key duties include receiving, storing, and distributing materials; ensuring inventory accuracy; maintaining a clean and organized work environment; and following all safety protocols. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while upholding company quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Shipping:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipping of products to customers.

Inventory Management:

• Organize and store inventory in designated locations for easy retrieval.
• Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to the supervisor.

Warehouse Operations:

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Follow company procedures for labeling, storing, and documenting materials.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Report safety hazards or violations to the supervisor immediately.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to resolve issues.
• Assist in training new warehouse employees when needed.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred but not required – willing to train).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) or willingness to obtain certification.
• Basic math and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Physical Activities:

Daily activity includes but is not limited to:

• Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
• Reading, communication, simple math.
• Standing on a fatigue mat in a specific area throughout a 10 hour+ shift.
• Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.

• Hourly: Competitive hourly pay (non-exempt), commensurate with experience.
