Director of Digital Marketing


Outova, headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth (Texas), Texas market  is seeking a talented Director of Digital Marketing.


Position Overview

As the Director of Digital Marketing you will oversee and lead our digital growth initiatives across Outova’s family of brands. This role will oversee digital strategy, customer acquisition, paid media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and content development. The Director will play a key role in building brand equity, optimizing customer experiences, and scaling revenue through digital channels. This position will bring a balance of creativity, analytics, and leadership, with a strong background in multi-brand or multi-channel environments—preferably in home improvement, retail, or outdoor living.


Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies for Outova and its portfolio brands.
  • Align digital initiatives with company goals around growth, lead generation, and brand awareness.
  • Partner with sales, product, and brand teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market messaging and campaigns.
  • Oversee the evolution of Outova’s digital footprint including web properties, email platforms, and social presence.

 

Channel Management & Performance Marketing

  • Manage all digital performance channels including SEO/SEM, Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, display, retargeting, and affiliate.
  • Lead email and SMS marketing strategies across customer segments (residential, commercial, hospitality).
  • Develop and implement paid social strategies that support direct response and upper-funnel engagement.

 

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track and analyze KPIs, funnel performance, and customer behavior to drive growth.
  • Optimize campaigns and digital touchpoints using A/B testing, user data, and attribution tools.
  • Implement and manage marketing automation tools and CRM integrations.

 

Team Development & Agency Oversight

  • Build and lead an internal digital marketing team, while managing external vendors and agencies.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across departments to support integrated campaigns.
  • Lead weekly performance reviews, quarterly planning, and budgeting efforts for digital initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • 7–10+ years of digital marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven success managing DTC and B2B digital marketing campaigns, preferably in home/lifestyle industries.
  •  Deep experience with platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), HubSpot, Meta Business Suite, Shopify, Klaviyo, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform and optimize strategy.
  • Exceptional project management, leadership, and communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-brand environments or companies undergoing digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with outdoor living, home improvement, or high-SKU product categories.
  • Knowledge of ERP, eCommerce integrations, and digital merchandising best practices.

 

Physical Activities:

Daily activity includes but is not limited to:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling office equipment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, industry events, or site visits.
  • May need to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally (e.g., marketing materials or trade show items).
  • Must be able to visually review digital and print content for accuracy and brand consistency.
