Outer Space Pools is a fast growing pool cleaning and repair business in Boerne, TX. We service the San Antonio and Hill Country areas.

Outer Space Pools is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team and help us grow. You will be paid salary and have opportunities for bonus pay.

The Operations Manager will manage the day to day execution of providing our customers with stellar service. This means overseeing the complete operations of the specified geography and ensuring the team is working to serve our customers with quality and safety. We want to invest in someone that is looking to grow and looking for a long-term work partnership with us.

Responsibilities

•          Works with leadership to establish productivity, service and safety targets as well as monthly, quarterly and annual business goals

•          Maintain a positive work environment that motivates and engages employees while driving customer satisfaction—be a Culture Champion.

•          Ensure customer expectations and satisfaction are maintained; customer issues and complaints are addressed and resolved in a timely manner

•          Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and manage staff, develop training and other related infrastructure where appropriate.

•          Coach, mentor, and performance-manage the team

•          Hire and terminate employees as needed

•          Help lead our culture by developing and improving processes, being ready to adapt and improve

•          Communicate, help problem solve and enforce OSP best practices & policies

•          Manage the company fleet and facilities, with focus on safety, organization, and cleanliness

•          Ensure employees are properly trained to perform their job duties safely and effectively

•          Report to management on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual metrics and goals as required

•          Ensure compliance with all municipal and government regulations and company operations, safety, and quality standards

•          Participate in special projects as needed

•          Local travel required via company vehicle to customer locations to maintain high level of customer service

•          Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

•          Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred or industry-related field experience required.

•          3+ years of home services industry experience is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience with route management home service business.

•          Experience managing a P&L is strongly preferred.

•          3+ years in people management is preferred.

•          Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills:

•          Effectively lead and motivate others through coaching, mentoring, etc.

•          Ability to read financial statements and manage them effectively

•          Customer service experience for field services

•          Strong personal and written communication skills

•          Effective time management and organizational skills

•          Ability to problem solve issues with practical solutions

•          Build rapport and trust with customers and employees

•          Ability to use information systems to conduct business, includes MS Office, enterprise systems (ERP), route management

•          Valid driver’s license is required

Salary

$60,000 - $75,000 per year
