Position Overview

Outdoor Adventure Retreats is seeking a Work Camper Couple to assist with kayaking/maintenance operations and front desk/customer service at Cedar Creek RV & Outdoor Center. This role is ideal for couples who are reliable, friendly, and enjoy hands-on work in a campground and creekside setting.

• Commitment: Minimum 6 months, however the ideal candidates are interesting in staying and growing with us long-term (starting asap)
• Hours: 25–40 hours/week

This role offers opportunities for long-term growth—past work campers have been promoted to General Manager positions within our organization.

Duties

Maintenance & Kayaking:

• Assist with kayaking and shuttle operations
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on facilities and grounds
• Maintain cleanliness and overall appeal of campground
• Support daily operations

Front Desk & Customer Service:

• Welcome guests and manage check-ins/outs
• Handle reservations, store register and inventory
• Answer questions in person and over the phone
• Provide information on amenities, activities, and local attractions
• Clean accommodations and camp store

Compensation & Perks

• $10-12/hour + tips. ALL HOURS PAID.
• Free full-hookup RV site (30/50 amp)
• Free campground Wi-Fi and bathhouse use
• 20% Employee Discount on all camp store inventory
• Work in a scenic waterfront setting with opportunities to enjoy kayaking and fishing

Requirements

• Own your own RV or travel trailer
• Pass a background check & drug test
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented
• Willing to help with miscellaneous campground tasks
• One partner: kayaking and maintenance experience
• One partner: front desk/customer service experience
